PURPOSEANDSCOPE:
Directorof Services Product Management, responsible for collaborating as a service representative in product development release core teams.
Lead as service stakeholder in all aspects of New Product Introduction and life-cycle management for assigned product(s) in the U.
S.
home nephrology healthcare market segment.
Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders and executives to help set the strategic direction.
Works to develop, execute/implement, and communicate overall product servicing plan and strategies.
Assists with establishment and execution of short and long term goals and objectives for product service efforts, ensuring alignment with divisional and company strategic plans.
Ensures all service materials meet internal and FDA Regulatory and Compliance guidelines, and that service strategy is aligned with company product objectives.
PRINCIPALDUTIESAND
Responsibilities:
Developing professional expertise; applies company policies and procedures to manage the commercialization of assigned product(s), as directed, providing program oversight to ensure successful and effective implementation of the service plan.
Collaborates cross-functionally regarding in-depth service analysis, effective market service research activities, thought leader development, forecasting, pricing strategy, and reimbursement/market access initiatives.
Develops, recommends, and collaborates with necessary senior management to assist with the implementation of impactful servicing strategies and recommends long and short term service plans that help drive brand identity and business, making the appropriate decisions to ensure an effective and efficient implementation.
Participates in all aspects of the product definition and phase reviews, partnering with Technical Service, Customer Service, distribution, and home customers.
Works closely with Product Marketing team(s) to ensure successful development and execution of product tactical plans.
Analyzes and defines the distribution plan and provides accurate estimates of services demand based on the growth of the home installed base.
Provides market research plan for service(s) as directed, while updating direct supervisor and/or senior management.
Develops and maintains key contacts with different target audiences to fully understand servicedynamics.
Develops and implements the service development plan and tactics helping to direct and allocate service biomedical team responsibility for product development support and downstream service training material collaboration.
Partners to develop and disseminate remote and field service training materials including coordination of external suppliers and agencies, and with input from R&D and Product Manufacturing.
Creates effective service communications programs to maximize return on investment.
This includes partnering with Customer national and regional clinic leadership, representing service programs, developing print materials, etc.
Sets objectives for service programs and tactics consistent with corrective and preventative maintenance strategy and oversees the development of the tactics for the service response and at risk patient user.
Manages the development of tactics to include remote technical support, supplies replenishment customer service, equipment swap and service parts, impact assessment on clinic support of equipment drop and redeployment, training material.
Gains approval for all service strategies through internal review process and with key customersProvides management, leadership, and vision regarding opportunities for the maximization of service potential in a rapidly evolving US renal market in collaboration with various colleagues.
Clarifies service vision, mission, and long-term goals for the cross-functional team members.
Provides regular status updates regarding service plan implementation timeline, tactics and program situation to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Partners with product marketing team(s), field service management team(s), and/or clinical groups to ensure appropriate service support tools are available to support the success of the renal product portfolio.
Responsible for the translation of product requirements for the US markets, ensuring that all requirements are understood within the Fresenius product management and development organizations, in addition to the external market.

Most of the office work will be performed within the Fresenius Medical Care North America corporate office in Lawrence, MA or from a Home office.
This includes:
Sitting at desk 50% of time operating a computer, and performing other general office functions.
Regular Business Travel 20-30% domestic travel (minimal international travel) will be required to conduct business at various locations which include but are not limited to:
company manufacturing sites, customer offices/clinics, and trade shows.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
10
years' related experience.
5
years' experience as a Manager; or 5
years' experience in a senior managerial role.
At least 4-6 years' experience coordinating the work activities of a field based organization and telecommuters.
Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
Should have experience working with technical and non-technical staff.
Strong working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, project planning and implementation.
Creative problem solving skills to effectively multitask concurrent priorities in an organized manner.
Strong management skills with the ability to lead cohesive and productive teams.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with diverse audiences through diplomacy and tact.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
Project planning management and implementations experience.
