Our core values are Compassion Integrity Collaboration Excellence The primary purpose of this position is to direct and ensure appropriate documentation and maintenance of records in the facility regarding MDS/MMQ's and to provide accurate coding for all MDS/MMQ assessments.
Thorough knowledge of all OBRA Regulations and requirements and how they interrelate with all mandated regulations.
Responsible for facility wide compliance with all OBRA/PDPM Regulations related to the MDS, MMQ, Caas and Triggers.
Oversees direct reports (MDS Coordinators and MMQ Coordinator) for performance, training, and review purposes.
Meets department productivity standards and ensures team members participation and reviews direct reports input.
Coordinates with other department managers and demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
Facilitate communication among managers and all disciplines to ensure comprehensive Care Plan.
(Managers responsible for new update care plan) On-going monitoring of Medicare windows.
Schedule all PDPM/MDS assessments with Therapy.
Thorough knowledge of changes to MDS and reimbursements Monitors Medicare cert-unit secretary to ensure on time Physical signature on all therapy orders.
Conduct weekly Medicare/PDPM meeting.
Attend in services as relates to OBRA and as a result provides in services to MI staff.
On-going assessment of resident status & related changes.
Qualifications Current State of Massachusetts RN license and in good standing 1+year experience in Long Term Care Setting Working knowledge of MDS/MMQ/PDPM Systems/Scheduling Complete knowledge of OBRA regulations Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) helpful but not required Job Type:
