4 Quick Apply Full-time 3 hours ago Full Job Description Lawrence Public Schools is looking for exceptional and dedicated Special Education Professionals to join our team as an Educational Team Facilitator (ETF).
This position carries an additional $5,411 stipend as well.
Vacancies are available throughout the district.
Statement of duties include:
Coordinate, schedule, and chair special education team meetings.
Write, process, and finalize developed individual education programs.
Maintain communication with families and staff to ensure educational needs are met.
Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by law, district policies and administrative regulations to ensure compliance.
Maintain professional competence by participating in staff development opportunities.
Perform related duties as required by the building Principal and the Special Education Zone Director.
Statement of requirements include:
Certification in Special Education with a minimum of 5 years of related classroom or field experience.
Solid knowledge and understanding of the team evaluation process, state and federal special education regulations, philosophy and timelines.
Additional preferences:
Strong written and oral communication and facilitation skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Fluency in Spanish Job Type:
